In the recent past we had shared a news with you that actor Arjun Kapoor receiving a legal notice from BMC officials for constructing an illegal terrace gym in the apartment where he lives. Now according to the reports the gym has been demolished by the officials.
When the first notice was sent to Arjun, a certain time frame was allotted to him to prove the legality of the gym. The actor refused to do so and the second notice was sent. The actor requested the BMC to relocate his gym equipments and that he will demolish the structure himself. While he managed to relocate the equipments, he failed to demolish the gym on the said day. And hence the BMC officials took necessary action.
A leading daily quoted the Assistant Municipal Commissioner of H-west ward Parag Masurkar saying, "About five or six civic body officials went to demolish the place, along with policemen. The demolition charges include the fees of the police, cost of hiring machines and the number of man hours put in by the BMC to demolish the place."
Arjun is also required to pay a sum of Rs.8000 as the reimbursement of the demolished structure.
