KJO replies to Nepotism trolls on 'Takht' announcement

13th August 2018

Filmmaker Karan Johar who recently announced his next directorial project 'Takht' including a star-studded cast of Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Anil Kapoor had some tweets countering him with the acquisition of Nepotism.

A few of them trolled Johar for casting the star-kids. A user even joked around by saying let Kareena Kapoor Khan's son Taimur Ali Khan has a role in it. Another user tweeted, 'Another example of #Nepotism by @karanjoharFavouring friends, kids of friends, family and relatives. I hate watching Bollywood films now. The industry is run like a dynasty now.''

Karan responded by posting, ''You must stop immediately or the world will come to a drastic end!''

KJo was spontaneous with these trolls and gave a befitting reply to a couple of users. Moreover, 'Takht' is a story that revolves around two warring brothers from the Mughal era. The film will go on floors in September next year and will release in 2020.

Karan Johar shared on his social media account that he is excited and honoured to announce his next film. With such a star cast working under the same project, we cannot wait to witness the making bits of the film.
