Loveratri song 'Chogada': Garba feast in London

The makers of 'Loveratri' featuring two newcomers Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain have dropped a peppy song titled 'Chogada' and all the garba enthusiast are invited to groove on this EDM number. Aayush and Warina are performing some modern day garba steps and the side dancers are all foreigners.

Performed by Darshan Raval and Asees Kaur and is composed by Lijo George and Dj Chetas, this song is energetic and powerful peppy number. The song can be played on a loop in garba and dandiya nights. Ram Kapoor as Aayush's on-screen father is playing dhol pushing his son urging to keep dancing. The music video is choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant and the steps are quite catchy as well. Speaking about the song Lijo George said, "It was great working with Chetas and Darshan on 'Chogada Tara'. We wanted to give a modern day touch to a folk song maintaining the connect with Gujarati culture without ruining the essence of the original."

The film is about two individuals played by Aayush and Warina who come closer during the auspicious Hindu festival of Navratri and they fall in love. Written by Niren Bhatt, the film will also mark the directorial debut of Abhiraj Minawala. Bankrolled by Aayush's brother-in-law Salman Khan's production banner, Loveratri heads to the theatres on 5 October.

Director Abhiraj Minawala spill some beans revealing that Chogada is a traditional Gujarati Folksong but he didn't want to highlight this fact. Darshan Raval who gave his vocals for the song revealed how excited he was for the song while music director Azeem Dayani revealed that in such a quick time of 40-45 minutes they came up with the idea of the song and executed it. While the lead dancer Aayush Sharma speaks on why Chogada is his favourite number and what efforts have been put forth for such a peppy modern day Garba number.
