The album of the film 'Half Girlfriend' contains mostly 90 percent of love songs which are romantic and soothing to the ears. One such track is 'Baarish' which actually is the first track from the film. It was a big hit among the music lovers when it released and soon started trending as well. Now the making video of the song is out and it is much more interesting than the song.

According to director Mohit Suri, the song marked the first meeting of Madhav and Riya and what else than rain would be apt for the same. As rain depicts romance and first love, they decided to show the first meeting with this song. Riya loves rain and every time she lets herself with the drizzle of water.  

When Arjun Kapoor heard the song for the first time, he loved it very much and also mentioned that it has all the elements which a song must have. Shraddha Kapoor enjoyed the most as we can see her getting wet in the water and dancing.

Arjun plays a boy who hails from the mainland Bihar and talks pure Hindi and hence is unable to talk to the girl he loves as Shraddha plays a Delhite girl who is much more globalised and westernised and talks English. So he is contended only in watching her getting drenched in rain every time.

This light hearted love story film 'Half Girlfriend' is set for a release on May 19, 2017.
