'Parmanu' new poster has John pumped up with patriotism

5th April 2018

The brand new poster of John Abraham, Diana Penty and Boman Irani starrer 'Parmanu' is out and we have John as a stubborn army man with a serious look on his face embracing patriotism at its best. Bankrolled by his own banner JA Entertainment that has legally separated from KriArj Entertainment, John has picked May 4 as a new release date of the film, the same month that celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Pokhran nuclear tests.

This intriguing poster has the map of Rajasthan plotted on John's face. The poster magnificently pitches the concept plot of the film that tells us the tale of India's first ever nuclear test on the land of Pokhran. This seems to be another military masterpiece flick after 'Madras Cafe'.

John took the films new poster to Twitter and captioned it, ''The ultimate countdown to the mission begins. A thrilling journey of patriotism & pride launches on 4th May 2018. #1MonthToParmanu but a shocker drops your way tomorrow itself! @DianaPenty #AbhishekSharma @bomanirani.''

Parmanu - The story of Pokhran is based on real-life events executing nuclear bomb tests conducted by the Indian Army in Pokhran, Rajasthan.

The film was earlier slated to release on December 8, 2017, but it got rescheduled for March 2 for which it was once again postponed to avoid the clash with Anushka Sharma's 'Pari'. Parmanu is now slated to release on May 4 clashing with Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor's '102 Not Out'.
