'Soch Mein Antar' song has a typical 90's flavour

The makers of 'Mohalla Assi' have dropped its first song from the film featuring Sunny Deol and Sakshi Tanwar. It is the bright character of Dharmnath Pandey aka Deol who is in a melodious argument with his on-screen wife played by Sakshi who is in for the debate; the sweet sounded lyrics of the song emphasize on the difference of opinion even when the thoughts are the same.

This beautifully captured song has the aroma of the 90's as Udit Narayan & Madhushree's voices take us back in time, also the fact that its composition makes it closer to a 90's number. Deol as a brahmin moustached man is spot on as a family man with two kids while Sakshi Tanwar turns out to be cherry on the cake with her presence. Click here to watch the music video.

The film revolves around the controversial Babri Masjid issue of Ayodhya. The film is loosely based on Dr. Kashi Nath Singh's popular Hindi novel 'Kashi Ka Assi', a satire on the commercialisation of the pilgrimage city, and fake gurus who lure the foreign tourists.

The film was put on hold by the censor board for three consecutive years since 2015 but after several cuts, it has been passed by the CBFC board. The film features Ravi Kishan, Sakshi Tanwar and Saurabh Shukla in the prominent role. 'Mohalla Assi' is slated to release on November 16.
