Actress Parineeti Chopra made her singing debut with the song 'Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahi' from her upcoming film 'Meri Pyaari Bindu.' She plays an aspiring singer Bindu in the film who wants to make it big in the singing industry. While the song video showcased her crooning the song, it is the making video which shows the actual fun which went into the recording of it.

The video shows an excited Parineeti making her way to the recording studio where she reveals that every member in her family is a singer and it was her dream to sing professionally at least once in her lifetime. She got her chance almost after 15 years of training.

The song was the first one to get locked for the film. When lyricist Kausar Munir recited the song, everyone just loved it and it was Maneesh Sharma and Akshay's idea that it should be crooned by Parineeti. Before recording the actual song, Pari rehearsed it sometimes with the music directors and sometimes without them. It came out to be a beautiful composition when it was finally recorded and was loved by all.

'Meri Pyaari Bindu' is helmed by Akshay Roy and produced by Maneesh Sharma under YRF banner and will release on May 12, 2017.
