19th June 2014

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is over the moon these days as his nephew Imran Khan's new born girl child Imara has given the 'Khandaan' all the reasons to be so.

Imran who named his daughter as Imara Malik Khan exclaims that as his daughter is the first grand daughter of his family, everybody is super excited. While Imran has become the father, Aamir has become the grand uncle.

But Aamir has banned the title and has asked his family to strictly not tease him with the new title of 'grand uncle' or 'dadaji'.

Imran reveals that Aamir has made his own set of rules."Aamir has forbidden us from using that phrase in the house. Apparently it ages you," laughs Imran.

However, he is happy that Aamir's son Azad will be growing up with his daughter.

"Imara has Azad to grow up with, even though Azad is her uncle," smiles Imran.

When asked how has he been coping up with the responsibilities of being a father and Imran confesses that it is not an easy job. "Me and Avantika have not settled in yet. Every couple of hours one new thing will pop up for which we don't have a system in place. But we have our mothers here to help us," added Imran.

While Imran's mother has started staying with him since the birth of Imara, Avantika's mother spends most of her day's time helping the new parents to cope up with the pressure.

Nonetheless, Imran confirmed that he will be soon resuming work.
