Aamir Khan's attempt to make the nation a better place, by discussing several serious issues on his ongoing show 'Satyamev Jayate' has landed him in trouble.

In a recent episode he spoke to gay and lesbian men and women, and the problems they face in the society. However the Chandigarh court wasn't too pleased and has filed a petition against the actor for promoting homosexuality.

Advocate Mandeep Kaur says, "The show, which was telecast on October 19 on a private channel, had discussed the lifestyle and rights of eunuchs and gays/lesbians, a matter on which the Supreme Court had already given its judgement."

Kaur had asked for an apology from the actor post the show's telecast, but she has not received any reply for it.

The actor is supposed to file a reply by December 19.
