Aamir Khan's debut television show 'Satyamev Jayate' was launched on Indian television yesterday, which got a humongous response from the audience and was highly praised from every possible medium.  The first episode of the show was aired and it dealt with the critically sensitive issue of female foeticide. 

From internet to messages, Aamir's team was flooded with compliments. But it was a compliment from his mother that touched Aamir's heart, "My ammi (mother) has loved the show. She could not accompany me here but texted me by saying 'Dil Pe Lag Gayi Aur Baat Ban Gayi'. I had tears in my eyes reading that and I'm very happy," said Aamir, who also exclaims that the year long hard work has finally paid off. 

An overwhelmed Aamir also added, "I was watching the show with my wife Kiran, son Azad along with the core team of the show. I have got a good response for the show from industry people and twitter reactions were of course exhilarating. Even our website got crashed because of the traffic." 

He said that after dealing with a critical issue in its first episode, the show's upcoming episodes will have similarly important issues which need to be highlighted. "Each issue is equally important. Each episode will deal with various issues. There will be many more issues on the show but let it be a suspense," said Aamir raising our anticipation over the show and the issues.
