Abhishek's dual act in 'Dum Maaro Dum'

8th April 2011

Known for his unusual macho looks and his family name, Abhishek Bachchan is leaving no stone unturned to make sure that his upcoming film 'Dum Maaro Dum' succeeds at the box-office.

After making people groove to his 'Bluff-master' number 'Right here. Right now', Abhishek Bachchan is all set to make people hear him in a song that is sung by him in his forthcoming film 'Dum Maaro Dum'. He is game to sing and has sung the song in which the lyrics target stagnant issues that are degrading society. The song is called 'Thyan Thyan' that has been composed by music director Pritam Chakroborty. Abhsihek's second song too, like his debut one is a hip-hop track. In the film Abhishek's character, DCP Kamat, will be seen mouthing this song that will detail the issue that movie is dealing with.

Incidentally, it was Rohan Sippy's film 'Bluffmaster' that saw Abhishek turning into a singer for the first time and was quite successful at that, as the song was a bigger hit than the film, and co-incidentally, it's the second time that Abhishek has turned a singer is for a film that is helmed by none other than Rohan Sippy. This can't be a co-incidence as it might be Rohan's belief in Abhishek's versatility that compels him to do more than one role in the film, to be a lead actor and to turn a singer as well. Hopefully, this turns out to be better than Abhishek's last release 'Game'.
