Abhishek's mantra: Do your best, forget the rest

13th April 2011

In spite of having 'Bachchan' attached to his name by birth, having the most beautiful woman in the world by his side and having impressed critics by some of his work, Abhishek Bachchan is one unlucky guy. Abhishek, who up till now, has done a variety of roles and has proved himself a better actor over a period of time, fails to garner box-office collections in his favor. The Bachchan Baby, who is appreciated for his critically acclaimed and commercially successful films like 'Yuva', 'Guru', 'Sarkar' and 'Paa', has been lucky enough to have money spinner films like 'Bunty aur Babli' and the 'Dhoom' series too in his kitty. In spite of all that, Abhishek is currently low in terms of his professional front, with two films, 'Raavan' and 'Game', turning out to be box-office duds. Nevertheless, Abhi's hopes are not dashed, as the actor believes that an actor can work to his optimum capability for the film but the fate of the film isn't in their hands. Abhishek, who currently is on a promotion spree, has been doing rounds of the nation, to gain as much publicity as he can for his upcoming film 'Dum Maaro Dum'. The actor is probably banking upon this hard-hitting film, with a serious issue as a central idea of the film, wherein Abhi plays the role of a strict police officer. Hope the publicity pays off and Abhishek achieves the glory he truly deserves.
