Bollywood's crossover star Anil Kapoor has been highly sucessfull overseas.
Following the success, he bought the rights of the international series '24' and made a successful attempt on Indian television.
But not many know that Anil had actually approached the makers of the original show to adapt the series into a Hindi feature film; but he was turned down.
After the success of the series on television, the actor pursued them again for the permission to adapt it into a film but they bluntly refused the same.
Apparently, the team of the original wanted to make a feature film themselves but things didn't work out then. Hence, they neither made the film nor allowed Anil to make it.
However, being the high-spirited star that he is, he hasn't bogged down as he has decided to go ahead with the second season of the show, which he has already started working on.
Currently, the team is in the pre-production phase as they plan to start the shoot this year itself.
