Unlike many other directors and producers who are mostly media-friendly, Aditya Chopra is one such director and producer who stays away from the paparazzi. He has remained that one mysterious character although being in the industry for almost two decades.
Known to make romantic films, Aditya is now coming up with the film 'Befikre' and on the similar grounds he has penned down a letter which describes his cine journey of 21 long years. Ranveer Singh has tweeted the letter on his twitter handle and captioned it as, "Befikra Adi has a message for you all ! ❤️."
In the letter written by Adi, he explains his experience while making 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge'. As he had only expected it to be a hit film, the film was the biggest hit of the era and it has still maintained its top position in the hearts of the audience. Adi was only 23 when he was making 'DDLJ' and did not know much about filmmaking. But after the huge commercial success of the film, he started learning the changing tastes and preferences of the audience.
While making 'Befikre' he decided to break his pillars of expertise: Dramatic Conflict, Heightened Emotions and Intense Romance. He wanted to make a film which is out of his comfort zone and reaches to the youth or the younger generation. At the end he even urges the audience to give this film a great success as they gave for the earlier ones.
