The rumors and confusion regarding the title 'Rebel' has come to an end. "'Rebel' was my family banner title and I have registered it five years ago. I have been renewing it and no one can claim the title." Aditya was reacting to producer A Ganesh's recent claim that he is making a film with the title 'Rebel' with Priya Hassan, the new action heroine of Kannada cinema. 

Talking about this confusion, "I have a great fascination for that title. 'Antha' is one of my favorite films and Ambarish got the title 'Rebel Star' from that film. I have been pestering my father to give me such a role. I had also registered the title 'Rebel' under my banner almost three years back. Nearly 10 producers came to me asking for that title. Some even offered me huge money. However I was adamant that if I direct a film, then the title would be 'Rebel'. Somehow it is not possible for me to direct a film in the next couple of years. Meanwhile, my father narrated this story and we both felt that 'Rebel' would be the perfect title for the film and hence we have started the film with this title only" said Aditya.

Aditya's father Rajendra Singh Babu, the well known director, is directing his son in a film that is titled 'Rebel'.
