Aditya roots for smaller teams at FIFA

7th July 2014

An ardent fan of football, Bollywood's rising star Aditya Roy Kapur has been on an all time high in recent times due to the ongoing FIFA World Cup. He has been hugely excited for the turn of events this world cup series has witnessed and is happy for the underdog teams that have performed really well.

He who has been inviting friends for special matches and has attended a couple of key clashes at the world cup, is up-to-date with all the news and in fact is giving statements predicting the trend as well.

"Argentina and Brazil need to stop relying on their star players, Lionel Messi and Neymar respectively. In the last match, Germany missed their centre back, Mats Hummels, and Mesut Ozil needs to improve. Otherwise, they have been perfect," said Aditya who witnessed a few games live in Madrid, Spain.

Big guns like Spain and England stunned their fans by an early exit and poor performance which is why Aditya is more impressed with the underdogs.

"Colombia and Costa Rica have got here because of their unity and spirit. They work for each other, probably because they don’t have established players. There are no big egos in the dressing room, so they play as a unit," he added.
