They say, patience pays off and luck does change overnight for good, especially in the glamorous world of Bollywood. And Aditya Roy Kapur is the latest example to prove the saying right.
Aditya made his debut with Vipul Shah's 'London Dreams' in 2009, but the movie, which also starred Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn and Asin, bombed at the box office. Next, came 'Action Replayy' and this too, even with a strong star cast like Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, flopped badly. 'Guzaarish' too which was released in 2010 with Hrithik Roshan and Ash, saw Aditya play a key role, but this project too failed to impress the fans.
With being part of three major flops, the industry had almost written off the actor's career. But hope came along in the form of 'Aashiqui 2' which was a surprise blockbuster this year, and luck continued to favor Aditya as his lastest 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' with Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Kalki Koechlin, has turned out to be one of the biggest hits of all times.
Light is shining bright on this talented actor, who is finally getting his dues in Bollywood as a trilingual film (Hindi, Tamil and Telugu), which will also mark the debut for South actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu in Bollywood, has now resurfaced on the producer's radar again.
'Assi Nabbe Poorey Sau' will now be made in Hindi with Aditya in the lead. Besides, Bollywood director Vipul Shah has yet again decided to cast Aditya for his next.
Let's hope the 'Gods' along with fans and good scripts continue to side Aditya, as the talented actor continues with his new inning in Bollywood.
