Asin can be considered the luckiest actress of the current lot, first she marked her debut alongside Aamir Khan in the blockbuster film 'Ghajini' and then she went on to do two films with the 'Dabangg' actor Salman Khan. Her second film and the first with Salman 'London Dreams', bombed at box-office and her upcoming film 'Ready' is slated to release soon. Her fourth film has got her yet another 'Khan' of the industry. It is reported that Asin will star alongside Shahrukh Khan in a romantic film that will be directed by Vishal Bharadwaj. The film will be based on Chetan Bhagat's best seller '2 States' and the hunt for a female lead was on for quite some time.

It was earlier touted that either Deepika Padukone or Priyanka Chopra will play Shahrukh's love interest in the film but now reports are rife that it is Asin who has bagged the role. Though Asin hasn't signed on the dotted line yet it is more or less confirmed that she will be part of the coveted film, after all who would miss the chance to star opposite SRK, that too in a romantic film. First Aamir, then Salman and now Shahrukh, it looks like lady luck is smiling on Asin.
