Everyone has been waiting to know when actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will return to Bollywood and especially return to the big screen. It's been almost two years since she's taken up any film. Ash was last seen in 'Guzaarish' in 2010.

Now it is heard, that Ash might star opposite Varun Dhawan in a film to be directed by Sriram Raghavan.

Nothing has been finalized yet, but the director has reached out to both. The film will be produced by Ramesh Taurani and it is said that though Varun is almost confirmed. However, the makers are still waiting for a response from Aishwarya.

In the mean time, Varun is busy with his father David Dhawan's directorial which will be produced by Ekta Kapoor.

Ash, on the other hand, has been on a break since her pregnancy and later the birth of her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan.

As Sriram wasn't available for any comments, Ramesh confirmed the news stating, "We have signed Sriram, and work is underway on the script. Once that is ready, we will look at casting."

Sriram last directed 'Agent Vinod' with Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor.
