Rating: 1/2

A barely watchable love story

Coming from the experienced hands of Sanjay Gadhvi who has given hits like 'Dhoom' and 'Dhoom 2', the expectations from this film were high as it was also a remake of the hit Telugu comedy 'Seema Tapakai'. But alas none of the above mentioned factors show its true colors in favor of this Hindi film that was touted to be an entertaining rom-com.

The film is about Rajveer Grewal (Jackky Bhagnani), an ideal son of billionaire automobile manufacturer Yashvardhan Grewal (Darshan Jariwala). He who successfully manages to design his dream car takes a small break after a very long time. And it is during these days that he crosses paths with Madhuri Singh (Nidhi Subbaiah).

It is love at first sight for Rajveer who falls truly, deeply and madly in love with Madhuri. But there is a little hitch in this love story as Madhuri hates rich people as according to her every billionaire is a spoilt brat.

In order to win her confidence, Rajveer creates a scene of being poor and hailing from an economical background. And it is this chaos and drama that forms the rest of the film.

The film in terms of story has nothing new to offer and hence disappoints you thoroughly. It clearly looks like the film is an attempt to glorify Jackky and his capability as a complete performer. It completely revolves around his antics and this attempt leaves out the little scope for the film.

But all the efforts go in vain as Jackky fails to leave a lasting impression on your mind as an actor as his performance comes out as mediocre.

On the other hand, the rest of the cast comparatively does a good job with the film. Kirron Kher and Arjun Rampal play their parts convincingly, whereas Arshad Warsi’s cameo is thoroughly entertaining and engaging.

Newcomer Nidhi is promising and might get handful of good offers after this performance.

Music is disappointing with just 'Boom Boom' and 'Punjabi Munde' coming as decent numbers. The film all over hardly has anything new to offer for your entertainment.
