'Khiladi' Akshay Kumar was seized at London's Heathrow Airport by the immigration authorities for over an hour and a half when he was found to be travelling without a valid visa.
The conflict arose when Akshay landed in London at around 7 am to 8.45 am(British Summer Time) from Mumbai was made to sit in the general holding area for detained passengers.
Akshay was accompanied by his personal trainer for a Fortnight's shoot of his upcoming film 'Rustom'.
The rules allow a Canadian national visit UK as a tourist without a visa. When Akshay was asked about the purpose of the visit, the actor informed that it was his film's shoot which made the visa stamp mandatory.
Akshay bagged the attention in the holding area by clicking photographs. The actor also asked the airport authorities to shift him to a private area, but the request was denied as they don't have any such area.
