In recent past it was reported how Akshay Kumar has been signed by director Niraj Pandey for his film "Special Chabbis" that is based on the infamous 1987 jewelry theft where 26 men conned the people of Zaveri Bazaar by claiming to be CBI officers in Mumbai.

The film was recently taken on floors and the team commenced the shooting for the film in Chandni Chowk, Delhi. As Akshay plays the master mind behind the robbery, he will be seen in quite a few looks in the film and in the one sequence which was being shot in Delhi, Akshay sported a typical nerdy avatar. Sporting geeky glasses, safari suit and oiled hair it was almost impossible to recognize the otherwise suave Akshay. The shot sequence is touted to be one of the most important scenes in the film as it shows the way the conmen gather and plan the forgery.

Akshay Kumar has almost completed "Joker" and has shot for the major portions of "Rowdy Rathore" as well. Apart from shooting for "Special Chabbis" in coming time he will be busy promoting his flick "Housefull 2".
