Like most of his fellow counterparts in the film industry, Akshay too launched his own production house and has produced quite a few films under that.

But apart from that he is also doing a lot many films for other banners. He is currently extremely tied up with a series of films as not only his few films are on floors but also he will be promoting his forthcoming release "Housefull 2" in near future. Despite of being such a busy actor Akshay keeps tabs on the progress of his own production ventures very well. From looking into the progress of the shooting to getting involved in the creative discussions and also finalizing the marketing, he makes sure that he keeps himself updated from all areas.

The actor is currently the owner of two production houses namely, Hari Om Entertainment and Grazing Goat Pictures with Colors channel’s former CEO Ashvini Yardi, and he also keeps reading good scripts to produce under his banner.
