Though actors Akshay Kumar and John Abraham are good friends as they have done several movies together like 'Desi Boyz', 'Housefull 2' and a few others, it seems like the next is a win/lose situation for both.

It is heard that producer Firoz Nadiadwala's second installment of 'Welcome' will not feature Akshay, but instead will have John Abraham in the film.

Earlier as well, the filmmaker and actor had a lot of disagreements on the making of the third installment of 'Hera Pheri', but that too didn't happen.

"I first started discussing the third installment of Hera Pheri with Akshay in 2006. I didn't want to make it without him. It's sad that we couldn't come to an agreement. Akshay is like a brother. But I can't afford him. I hope we work together again very soon," said Firoz.

Reasons for Akshay missing in 'Welcome 2' (tentatively titled) are not known, but John was approached to play the lead and he happily accepted the offer.

Anees Bazmee will direct the second part as well that will go on floors by end of the year.
