(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Alyson Hannigan found reuniting with her American Pie co-stars "strange" as everyone knew about each other's lives despite not spending time together.
The actress first found fame back in 1999 appearing as Michelle Flaherty in comedy American Pie, which spawned a hugely successful franchise.
Alyson and her co-stars such as Jason Biggs, Seann William Scott and Tara Reid are returning for the latest film in the franchise, American Reunion, which is set for release in 2012.
Alyson loved catching up with everybody, and was surprised that everybody knew about her and husband Alexis Denisof's two-year-old daughter Satyana.
"You know, I haven't seen most of those guys for, goodness, we couldn't even figure it out probably, like, eight years or something. And more for the ladies. It's a little strange, because you've kept up with them in the media. Like, everybody knew I had a kid. But it was really nice," she smiled in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.
"We got to show pictures! It was one of those things where the dynamic with everyone is as if no time that has passed. You instantly get along."
Alyson thinks fans won't be disappointed by American Reunion. The actress particularly appreciates the way the franchise has always managed to blend comedy with a heartfelt story.
"The great thing about this franchise is that, of course, there's the raunchy humour but here's also a lot of heart to it. And this fourth movie does not miss the boat on that at all," she beamed. (C) Cover Media
