American Idol crew embarrassed by feud

4th October 2012

Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey reportedly treated each other with respect on the American Idol set Wednesday.

The show hosted and filmed auditions in Charlotte, North Carolina yesterday, just days after video footage leaked of the two divas feuding.

Pointing angrily, Nicki claimed in the tape obtained by TMZ that she was being "patronised", saying

"I told them, I'm not f**king putting up with her f**king highness over there."

According to the website, Nicki and Mariah were "peaceful and professional" the day after the altercation.

Apparently the American Idol cast and crew were "embarrassed" by the confrontation. The leaked tape "shocked everyone back into place."

The show's presenter Ryan Seacrest spoke previously about his thoughts on the nasty interaction.

"It got heated between Nicki and Mariah," Ryan revealed during his morning On Air With Ryan Seacrest radio show Tuesday.

"It was intense! I'll be honest with you It went far last night. It did get intense."

Ryan has high hopes for the judges.

He believes that their differences will ultimately benefit the programme.

"These are all very different individuals with different perspectives and different opinions that provide for interesting conversation and dialogue and feedback for the contestants," Ryan shared.
