September 14, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The techno-savvy director Anil C Menon, who had given an inspiring hit movie Ben Johnson in 2005, has signed Malayalam film's young superstar Prithviraj in the lead role of his next film.

The director could not recreate his magic of Ben Johnson in his later movies with actor Suresh Gopi. South Indian actor and singer Kalabhavan Mani starred in his hit movie of 2005.

The director has now come back after a break and is ready to shoot with Prithviraj in his new movie, which has been scripted by T A Shahid. The Prithviraj starrer movie will revolve around an idealistic youth, who is forced to become the mediator of two ever fighting groups with different ideologies.

Script writer T A Shahid also worked with the director in Ben Johnson. The director has not yet found a suitable title for his latest venture. Biju John and Santhosh Mathai will be producing the movie under the banner of Cinema movies. The movie is undergoing its pre-production works at Kochi.

It is reported that young star Prithviraj will be seen in an extremely powerful role in this film, which will deal with the story of human conflicts.

Hope, the director becomes able to recreate the magic of Ben Johnson with this movie!
