Anjali Lavania, the Mumbai based model who gained fame as one of the Kingfisher Calendar March 2011 models, will now be seen in a Telugu movie. She has been offered a role of the second lead in the film, 'The Shadow', alongside superstar Pawan Kalyan.

The film is going to be directed by the popular Tamil film maker, Vishnuvardhan and will be produced under the banner of Sanghamitra Arts and Arks Media Arts. This would also mark Vishnuvardhan's directorial debut in a Telugu movie. The main female lead role in the movie will be played by the 'Game' actress, Sarah Jane Dias. The storyline of 'The Shadow' is based on the mafia. The movie is expected to release by the second week of May.

Anjali was the second runner up in the Kingfisher Calendar Girl contest. She regularly meditates and has said that yoga had helped her lose weight. The 5 feet ten inches tall model prides herself most about her legs.
