A shocking news has just taken over the film industry, as renowed and popular singer Asha Bhosle's daughter Varsha Bhosle commits suicide.

Apparently, Varsha shot herself at her Mumbai home at Peddar Road. Senior police officials and investigators have rushed to the site to scrutinize the depths of the matter. Unfortunately, Asha is currently in Singapore, attending the Marathi Culture Awards (MIFTA).

Varsha had tried to commit suicide ealier as well by consuming sleeping pills, but she was immediately taken to the hospital and kept under observation.

Varsha was a freelance journalist, who worked for some of the leading newspapers. She was married too, but later divorced her husband. Besides journalism, she was also a playback singer for many Hindi and Marathi films.

The demise of the star's daughter is indeed a sad news. Hope her soul rests in peace!!
