(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Avril Lavigne is really excited about her upcoming record.
The 26-year-old Canadian songstress catapulted to fame at the start of the 2000s, and enjoyed huge success with hits such as Complicated, Im With You and Girlfriend.
The stars fourth studio album Goodbye Lullaby will be unveiled in March, and the star admits shes thrilled to be back in the limelight after releasing her previous record The Best Damn Thing to immense critical acclaim in 2007. Shes especially pleased that the albums catchy debut single What the Hell has been well received.
"I'm just really excited to be back," Avril told MTV News. "It's been a few years, and I'm excited to see that What the Hell [is] doing good so far on iTunes and [with] the fans. The response has been really great, so I'm happy."
The music promo will be revealed this weekend, and Avril is especially proud because it features 3D technology. The singer found watching the clip back for the first time an exhilarating experience, and shes sure her fans will agree.
"The music video's in 3D, and my favourite part of the video is the rock-out scene at the end where I jump onstage and I'm with my band," she beamed. "When we shot it and I got to watch it back in 3D with the glasses and actually you can see the crowd's hands and it felt like you were live in a crowd, so it was kind of cool." (C) Cover Media
