A report says that a decision is being formulated to take back Saif Ali Khan's Padma Shri Award.

Union Home Ministry has asked Mumbai Police for sending a report on the alleged brawl that involved Padma Shri awardee, Saif Ali Khan but the process is lagging behind since seven months.

The grapevine is that an RTI activist demanded that Saif should be stripped off the civic honour in the wake of reported framing of charges against the actor by a Mumbai court.
