(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Beyonc Knowles is still open to having a baby next year.

The American songstress has been with her rapper husband Jay-Z for a long time, but the pair are famously very secretive about their personal lives.

The pair married in a secret ceremony in April 2008, but Beyonc did not publicly debut her $5 million Lorraine Schwartz-designed wedding ring until September of that year.

Beyonc, who turns 30 in September, is still unsure how family life will pan out for her and her husband, but she is keeping her options open.

"I always said I would have a baby at 30," she said in an interview with Piers Morgan. "But I also said I was going to retire at 30."

Despite being coy about her personal life, Beyonc was keen to disclose how she feels about her husband in the interview with the British talk show host. The stunning star reiterated that both she and Jay-Z only want to hit headlines because of their music careers.

"He is amazing," she gushed. "Jay and I have kind of made a decision that we want to be known for our music and not our relationships or scandals."

Beyonc performed the Etta James' classic At Last at the 2009 inaugural ball. The singer went down in history when she sang for President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle while they danced at the prestigious event. Beyonc found the experience awe-inspiring.

"It was really powerful and overwhelming," she explained. "I kept telling myself, 'This is not about you. You have to do this for them. You have to do this for history,' and it's the only way I was able to get through that song because I wanted to ball."

Beyonc is also a respected actress. The talented star, who has appeared in films including Dreamgirls and Cadillac Records, doesn't like shooting love scenes though. "I don't like them," she said. "They're uncomfortable."
