(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are "dolls", says Disney star Debby Ryan.

Debby, the 18-year-old star of Disney television programme Jessie, had a surprise meeting with Justin and Selena recently. The couple stopped by the set of Debby's show to meet the cast.

Debby was thoroughly impressed by Justin and Selena.

"[Their visit] was so cool and they were such dolls," Debby told the American edition of OK! magazine.

"What's so cool about Justin is that while Selena was saying hi to her people and walking around and what not, he was in back taking calls, in the back kind of watching and observing, like the boyfriend."

Debby portrays lead character Jessie on the children's show. It follows the adventures of an au pair from Texas who moves to New York City to care for a wealthy family's kids.

Debby looks up to Justin and Selena and finds much inspiration in their successful careers.

"You know they're both obviously iconic. Beyond being iconic, they're trailblazers in their own right, in their own empires," Debby said.

"Especially with Justin Bieber, he didn't start out with a microphone and say make me a pop star, he played drums, he played guitar and wrote songs. He was like, Let's do this.' He has a heart for music, that's why he is successful. Those are the kinds of people I love my kids [on the show] looking up to." (C) Cover Media
