The pair's break comes after Justin's incredible Billboard Music Awards sweep, where he took home six gongs, including best new artist.

The Canadian singing sensation, 17, and his girlfriend, 18, were spotted arriving at Maui, Hawaii hand-in-hand after taking a flight from Los Angeles' LAX airport earlier in the day.

A source close to the pair, who publically kissed at the prestigious awards ceremony, says the young pop stars have taken a break from their busy schedules to enjoy time together.

"After working their asses off, they've carved out some serious time to hang out. They're taking a well-deserved break together," a source told Perez Hilton.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that Justin and Selena ate pizza in their glamorous attire straight after the music awards in Las Vegas on Sunday.

The pair, accompanied by their two bodyguards, stopped by Jaleo Restaurant at the Cosmopolitan hotel. The singers enjoyed slices of pizza still dressed up in their designer clothes, according E! Online.

The American stars are rumoured to have been romancing for several months, but only went public with their relationship at February's Vanity Fair Oscar party. The pair are believed to have been in a relationship since November of last year, but have done their best to keep a low-profile up until now. (C) Cover Media
