The 'Shahenshah' of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan was in attendance at the screening of his latest film 'Piku' at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on June 7 and Amitabh revealed that Mr. Pranab Mukherjee was absolutely delighted on watching the movie which is about a Bengali family.

Amitabh was accompanied to the Rashtrapati Bhavan alongwith his son Abhishek Bachchan and the film's director Shoojit Sircar.The film's leading lady Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan couldn't make it because of their prior commitments.

"The Honourable President of India Shri Pranab Mukherji, tonight watched Piku and may I say with great  reserve of modesty, he absolutely loved it! Most particular he seemed to have enjoyed the 'perfect'  Bengali-Hindi accent, which he felt was flawless. He later invited us over for dinner and we continued to  discuss the film and its merits," Amitabh posted on his blog.
