The 23-year-old actress revealed dramatic new red locks earlier this week, appearing at the Time 100 Most Influential People for 2011 party in New York with newly dyed flame-coloured tresses.

The star, who shot to international fame playing Serena van der Woodsen in US teen drama Gossip Girl, was renowned for her long shiny blonde locks but has revealed that she is already eyeing up her next hair shade.

Blake says her younger nephew inspired her way of thinking.

My nephew wants me to dye my hair blue. He said I dont like red hair, why dont you dye your hair blue? Thats whats next, she told OK! magazine.

The beauty says she often relies on her family for style advice. Blake has revealed that she borrows from her sisters wardrobe, and is already contemplating her summer attire.
