Bobby Brown and his daughter with the late Whitney Houston reunited over lunch this week.

The singer is said to have a troubled relationship with Bobbi Kristina Brown not helped by the fact that he walked out of Whitney's funeral back in February.

Us Weekly reports that the father-daughter duo met up in New York City but the atmosphere was a little strained.

Bobbi Kristina, 19, and her father were joined by his longtime girlfriend Alicia Etheridge and three other friends at Blue Fin restaurant in the heart of Times Square.

"[Bobbi Kristina] was on her phone and texting a crazy amount," the eyewitness told the publication. "She didn't seem too thrilled to be there, in all honesty."

Bobbi Kristina is gearing up to launch her acting career in a Tyler Perry sitcom meanwhile Bobby was charged with DUI last month and could be jailed for six months if convicted.
