Britney Spears collaborates with will.i.am

9th February 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Britney Spears is thrilled to be working with will.i.am, and spent time in the studio with him yesterday.

The American singer is currently putting the finishing touches to her upcoming album Femme Fatale, which is due out next month. She has kept details about the record secret as she wants her fans to be surprised, but it is known there are several high profile collaborations on it.

One of them is with Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am, with Britney revealing they were working together yesterday.

In the studio with @iamwill...you guys are gonna love this one, she wrote on Twitter yesterday.

Britney has also worked with Ke$ha on a song, which it has been claimed is very catchy. At the moment it is unknown if the track will make it onto Femme Fatale, as the album listing is yet to be finalised.

Executive producer Dr. Luke recently admitted the LP is still being worked on, even though it is set to hit shops in the next few weeks.

It's a little bit fluid right now. I can't even say at this stage what songs for sure are making it and what songs aren't. We're working with a lot of producers and overseeing it with her A&R and record label and management and trying to make something cohesive, he explained.

The first single from Femme Fatale is Hold It Against Me, and the promo for the tune is due to premiere on February 17. (C) Cover Media
