The American pop princess is currently preparing for the highly-anticipated release of her new studio album Femme Fatale and has confessed some previously well-guarded secrets about her life with fans to celebrate the launch, including her addiction to shopping.

The songstress has revealed to UsMagazine.com that she prefers shopping online and in boutiques, to going out to big stores to purchase her favourite fashions pieces.

Im addicted to shopping online, she revealed. I love boutique shopping.

The 29-year-old star has also admitted that her love of online buying has led to a vast collection of handbags and other items. Britney has revealed she has a habit of buying handbags and jackets more than anything else.

I have more than 50 purses in my closet and more than 50 jackets, she added. (C) Cover Media
