'Busy' Deepika out of Salman's next

20th February 2014
Salman Khan's next film with filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya has been garnering a lot of attention.

Be it because of Salman and Sooraj's collaboration after 15 years, the female lead dilemma or Salman's double role, the buzz around the film refuses to die.

Ever since the film has been announced, there has been confusion over the film's female lead. Names like Sonakshi Sinha, Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone cropped up.

While Sonakshi was marked off the list considering their pair has been repeated twice in the 'Dabangg' series, the latest to be ousted from the shortlisted names is Deepika Padukone.

Grapevine has it that Salman isn't too keen on pairing with the much-in-demand Deepika as he feels that she is 'too busy' for the film.

For this year, Deepika already has 'Happy New Year' opposite Shah Rukh Khan and 'Finding Fanny Fernandes' with Arjun Kapoor and seems like Salman was not ready to let his film face the heat due to her packed schedule.

Salman is paying keen attention to this film and hence doesn't want a super busy actress for the same.

While Deepika's name has apparently been ruled out, the confusion over the leading lady is heaping.

Looks like Deepika will have to wait to get her moment of fame with Salman Khan as the two are yet to do a film together.

Nonetheless, another Salman Khan loyalist has been roped in for the film. His find Himesh Reshammiya has been signed to compose the film's songs. He will be writing the lyrics and create tunes as well.

As for the leading actress, it remains to be seen who finally bags the coveted role.
