The actress and baseball player began dating earlier this year, but have worked hard to keep their romance under wraps. Alex has previously had high-profile relationships with Madonna and Kate Hudson, while Cameron has dated stars including Matt Dillon, Jared Leto and Justin Timberlake. Both decided they wanted more privacy this time round, and are adamant not to discuss their life together.

Pals of the pair say their decision has benefitted them hugely, as it has helped them relax with each other. “Cameron and Alex are a match made in heaven. For so long, they both clung to single life. But as a couple they are devoted to each other yet still independent,” one friend explained.

“They spent plenty of time sewing their wild oats before they found each other. They met at the right time – they’re in tune with each other and ready for a serious commitment.”

Cameron and Alex have lots in common, and enjoy spending time discussing sports. Cameron loves going to watch Alex play with his team the New York Yankees, and gets on well with the partners of the other players.

“Cameron love that Alex is hard-working, intelligent and sexy. For her, it’s the whole package,” the source added to Look magazine. “She tells dirty jokes, drinks beer and can hold her own discussing just about any sport.
