(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Cheryl Cole is being inundated with all types of "exciting" proposals after being dropped from The X Factor.

The singer was unveiled as a judge on the US version of the television talent contest following her successful stint on the UK programme. However, her place on the panel was short-lived and she was quickly replaced by Nicole Scherzinger following claims Americans couldn't understand her accent.

Cheryl has reportedly decided not to make any career decisions until after she has taken a break from the public spotlight.

"Cheryl is being offered all sorts, left, right and centre. One proposal is very exciting," a source told Grazia. "But Cheryl says that she can't make a decision about anything until she's had time off she's just not ready for work."

The British star has been overwhelmed by the positive messages she has received from fans since she left the show. Cheryl wants her supporters to know she appreciates their good wishes and feels ready to move on from recent events.

"All sorts of people have sent messages, and she's really grateful for the support from most of them," the source added. "It's really important to her that people realise she's not bitter, and she's spent a lot of time on her BlackBerry, just reassuring people that she's alright."

One project the star is currently focusing on is a charity she has started called the Cheryl Cole Foundation. The star has decided to raise funds for her organisation by donating items of her clothing to be auctioned.

"When I was clearing out my wardrobe it occurred to me that the clothes I was bagging up for charity could now benefit my own charity, which is really how the idea for the clothes auction started," she said recently. (C) Cover Media
