(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Cheyenne Jackson wed his longtime partner in New York this weekend.

Glee actor Cheyenne and partner physicist Monte Lapka have been together for over a decade. Cementing their union on Saturday, Cheyenne took to Twitter to express his joy about their matrimony.

"It's official, after 11 years together, Zora's no long a b*****d," Cheyenne posted. "Married the best man I've ever known [sic]."

Cheyenne and Monte wed on the beach in New York's the Hamptons in an intimate ceremony. The couple waited to marry until their union was legally recognised by government. New York state passed the Marriage Equality Act in June which officially acknowledges homosexual marriages.

In an interview with NBC New York last year, Cheyenne talked of his dream ceremony and who the guests would be at the affair. His wedding VIP would be the couple's pooch, Zora.

"My dream wedding involves just close friends and good musicOur dog would be there," Cheyenne described. "Our dog, our daughter, Zora... Pretty boring, but something just nice and on the beach."
