(Cover) - EN Star Style - Christina Aguilera has confessed to snooping around her mothers make-up case when she was a youngster.

The 29-year-old singer-and-actress famously enjoys experimenting with extravagant outfits and shocking make-up, and she admits her passion for cosmetics emerged when she was little.

As a young girl Christina would rifle through her mothers vanity case looking for products to enhance her natural beauty.

I was always digging in my moms make-up case behind her back, she told a British TV show.

Christina explained how different she is to the character she portrays in her debut cinema role. In musical comedy Burlesque the beautiful star plays a fresh-faced small-town girl called Ali who moves to Los Angeles to try to make it as a performer, and Christina considers herself to be far more daring in the make-up department than her alter-ego.

I have always had a fascination with make-up and unlike Ali, my character, who is a little more timid, I have never wanted anything more than to play up to the theatrics and the exciting factor that comes from applying make-up, she added. (C) Cover Media
