The video in which Applegate plays a character named Roxy Fedaro is aimed at promoting a DVD that instructs moms-to-be in pre-natal pole dancing. Applegate is 39 now and is expecting her very first baby next month, she does not see why being pregnant and gaining a little weight ought to make women feel less sexy. In the video, apart from her baby bump she does not seem to have gained a lot of weight. The actress who has acted in films like 'The Sweetest Thing', 'Anchorman', was seen in the video with a lot of make up and wearing shorts, tights, and a very fitted tank top.

Applegate believes that women who are scared of pole dancing being a risky activity to indulge in during pregnancy, need to know that danger is sexy and even daily activities like walking, driving also involve risks. Jessalyn Gilsig, who stars in 'Glee' also appears in the same video endorsing pre-natal pole dancing. This spoof video also has Wendi McLendon , the 'Reno 911' actor; all these three actors are seen dancing to a Christina Aguilera number. The video only proves that Christina Applegate has put the tough times of battling with breast cancer, far behind her! The actress also supports Right Action For Women, which is a charitable organization that promotes the kind of MRI scan which Applegate herself benefited from. The organization works for detecting breast cancer in women.
