Christopher Mintz-Plasse fears for Kick-Ass sequel

18th July 2011

(Cover) - EN Movies - Christopher Mintz-Plasse fears a sequel to Kick-Ass will never happen because of Chlo Moretz's busy schedule.

The 14-year-old actress won rave reviews for playing a child assassin in 2010's quirky superhero caper, and received further acclaim in vampire drama Let Me In. She has a host of movies coming up, including Martin Scorsese's Hugo Cabret. And Christopher believes her new popularity will end any chance of a Kick-Ass 2.

"Yeah! I talked to Matthew [Vaughn, director of the first movie] and he's like, I don't know if I would ever direct it, but I would definitely be on board to produce it,'" Christopher told Collider. "And I've thought, Eli Roth [Director of Hostel] would be such a cool director for this. Or someone who hasn't done a comic book movie but gets horror cause it's very violent. Very bloody.

"But Chloe's working up a storm, man. She's non-stop. So, who knows if we'll ever do it? I know I would love to, and I think Aaron [Johnson] would love to. I'm sure Chloe would, but we're all just kind of busy right now."

Christopher, who is best known for playing McLovin in teen comedy Superbad, has a starring role in the forthcoming remake of 80s cult classic Fright Night. (C) Cover Media
