(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Cline Dion says Michael Jackson always wanted to perform in Las Vegas.

The 42-year-old singer is currently residing at Caesars Palace, as she completes a three-year series of live performances - consisting of 70 shows a year.

During the concerts, Cline dedicates a section to late pop legend Michael Jackson, who she credits with inspiring her early career.

During the tribute, Cline performs the Nat King Cole classic, Smile, which was one of the late superstars favourite tracks. The Canadian star believes her tribute is fitting for a man who always longed to take to the stage in Las Vegas.

We were actually in this room and he said, ' Cline, I just want to know how it is to be here, how you do it every night? Does it make you happy?' she told Extra. I think he wanted to eventually come and perform here. It was an amazing honour to meet with him and he was an amazing inspiration to me." (C) Cover Media
