(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Cline Dion has given birth to twin boys.

The 42-year-old musical icon delivered two boys weighing five pounds, ten ounces and five pounds, four ounces respectively yesterday afternoon, said a statement released by St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida.

The news is particularly poignant as Cline has spoken publicly about her struggle to become pregnant, having undergone in-vitro fertilization (IVF) many times.

The talented singer had been due to give birth next month, but earlier this week it was revealed she had been hospitalised to ensure she would be near doctors as she prepared for the delivery.

Cline and her husband/manager, Ren Anglil, already have one child together; nine-year-old son Ren Charles. Their new boys names have not yet been revealed.

Meanwhile, another showbiz couple also welcomed a new life into the world earlier this week. It has been reported movie star Matt Damons wife Luciana gave birth to a baby girl called Stella Zavala Damon on Wednesday.

Matt and Luciana tied the knot five years ago and already have two infants together; Isabella, four, and two-year-old Gia. Luciana also has another daughter, Alexa, from a previous marriage. (C) Cover Media
