(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Clint Eastwood says he has no intention of dying any time soon.

The multiple Oscar winners new film, Hereafter, is about the impact of death on peoples lives and stars Matt Damon as a psychic.

Eastwood insists that he does not want to pass away just to see what will happen to him and still feels he has a lot to live for.

Even at this point, I can say I sure am not interested in myself going on just yet, just so I can find out what its about, the 80-year-old said.

However, he believes most people are obsessed with the topic of death and try to imagine if there is any kind of afterlife. Eastwood says this was his inspiration when he was directing the film, which is released in America later this month.

The world thinks about what happens after we die, so I started pondering the subject. I began a year ago November, he added. Going on yourself or losing those you love is what people are obsessed with.
