Bollywood's latest toast of the town, Shraddha Kapoor, is bedridden amidst her hectic schedule.
The actress who has many films in the pipeline has been on a strict bed rest advised by the doctor.
It so happened that the actress was rigorously working on a dance technique for her upcoming dance film 'ABCD 2' with choreographer turned filmmaker Remo D'Souza. The film is a sequel to his film 'ABCD' and is about passionate dancers making it to the international stage.
Shraddha who is a self-confessed dance lover pushed herself beyond limits to get a particular dance move correct which resulted in muscle tear, forcing her to take bed rest for a couple days and undergo physiotherapy sessions. The actress is put on for the rest for at least a week.
Shraddha has been doing intensive rehearsals to look and perform her part and she was learning a difficult move which involved a split. While rehearsing the same, she pulled a muscle and suffered a tear. She had done a warm up and was performing the same move for a couple of days, but this time she was really hard on herself which resulted in the injury.
However, this incident hasn't dampened her spirit. Shraddha claims that she will continue to work hard on her dance but will also understand her limitations.
"I guess it was a result of over enthusiasm that led to partial muscle tear. I have to be more careful while rehearsing because it is very important to understand your body type and how much you can push it. But I love dancing so much that I am praying this injury heals quickly," she said.
